Getting around Rome

Metro tickets can be purchased directly at the metro station. Bus tickets in all tobacco Shops T.  It is recommended to buy and get your ticket stamped.

 

Tickets for getting around Rome by public transport

Ticket ordinary citizen BIT: Duration 100 minutes € 1.50.

Day ticket BLG: duration 1 day € 6,00

BTI Ticket: 3-day € 16.50

Weekly ticket CIRS: 7-day € 24,00

 

All tickets are valid for the underground, surface transport and city railway and ATAC – Rome Metro.

 

In addition, there are some special tickets that allow entrance to the city’s major attractions and public transport, such as:

Roma Pass – worth 3 days from the time of activation.

Provides free access to the first two museums and / or archaeological sites of your choice (consecutive). Reduced price tickets in all other museums and / or archaeological sites; Free access to the following museums: Museum of the Roman Republic and memory Garibaldi, Museum in Villa Borghese, Museum delle Mura, Napoleonic Museum and Villa of Maxentius; Free access to transportation ATAC (Metro line A and B, regional railways Rome-Lido, Rome Flaminio – Piazza del Popolo, Rome and Viterbo Giardinetti). A great way to visit the city is through the typical open bus carrying a route between the main monuments and allow get out and get in at your leisure and have audio guide in 8 languages. There are different types, the choice is yours:
